Eastern Iowa radio station Z102.9 partnered with UFG Insurance to promote the Worth It campaign against distracted driving at Lost Island Water Park in Waterloo on June 24, 2020.
An estimated 1,600 guests came through the park, according to Lost Island’s general manager, Eric Bertch.
Z102.9 encouraged as many parkgoers as possible to take the Worth It pledge to stay focuses behind the wheel. Guests would use the camera on their phones to scan a QR code to take them directly to the pledge at ufgworthit.com.
